In an effort to increase safety measures, Consumer Priority Service (CPS) will be extending all expiring consumer warranties until June 30, 2020. This will be valid for all products whose warranty would have expired in this lockdown period (between March 20 and April 30, 2020). Furthermore, CPS is calling on all OEM’s, 3rd Party Administrators (TPA’s) and Home Warranty companies to join the 60 day extension (#60dayextension) movement. CPS is encouraging all to make a public commitment by posting the hashtag #60dayextension on their social media accounts displaying their public commitment that they joined the movement. Several companies, primarily OEM’s have already taken this initiative and posted extensions on their website.
