We’ve got the perfect headphones protection plan for you.

Our headphones extended warranty provides either 2 or 4 years of coverage. For new headphones with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty, our contract and coverage start as soon as the first year is over. For refurbished headphones, our contract starts the date you purchased your headphones with coverage starting after the refurbished warranty ends. Our standard headphone warranty covers any internal hardware failure, so if any internal bits short, you can send it our way, and we’ll repair it for you. Our standard plan does not cover any sort of damage incurred on the headphones, including accidental damage and water damage. But maybe you’re looking for that extra bit of coverage to ensure you’ll have your headphones working for the foreseeable future. Our accidental plan might just be for you.

Our accidental plan covers accidental damage ranging from drops under 6 feet, to small spills on the headphones. The contract starts the date you purchase your headphones with coverage starting after day 31 of your ownership, when most store’s return policies end. Neither of these plans covers intentional damage, full water submersion, or lost or stolen products. So check to see if you can purchase our warranty coverage with your new headphones. If you can, go ahead and purchase it, kick back, turn up the bass, and get groovy knowing that your headphones are covered.

Headphones Extended Warranty FAQ

Yes. Your coverage will typically continue until your contract expires. Your coverage will end, however, if your headphones are replaced or the total cost of the repairs meets the maximum liability (the original price you paid for your headphones).

Yes, you will. If your headphones break, we will provide you with instructions on shipping your headphones to CPS’s repair facility. Once we receive it, we will complete repairs for your headphones.

If we cannot repair your headphones, we will provide you with a check for the current market value of your headphones.

Intentional damage is not included in either warranty, nor is full water submersion, drops over 6 feet, and lost or stolen headphones.

Our standard headphone warranty includes 100% parts and labor coverage for the repairs of your headphones. The warranty also covers any and all hardware failure, as long as it is not a result of accidental damage.

The accidental damage warranty covers any drops under 6 feet and liquid spills on the headphones. This coverage is on top of the standard warranty’s coverage, meaning all hardware malfunction is completely covered as well.

Yes, you can. Contact CPS by giving us a call at 1 (800) 905-0443, and our customer experience team will be able to help you transfer your warranty to a new owner. A small $25.00 transfer fee applies.

For refurbished headphones with a 30-90 day warranty, our contract starts the date you purchase your headphones, with coverage beginning as soon as the 30-90 day warranty ends.
