LG hops aboard the metal smartphone bandwagon with the Zero

A solid aluminium body and with Arc Glass edges.

LG has turned up fashionably late to the all-metal smartphone party with the launch of the aluminium-bodied Zero.

As well as packing premium-grading casing, the handset has an “Arc Glass” design on the edges to make it appear slimmer.

It’s a fashion-centric handset with mid-range specs, including a quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

The Zero also has a 5-inch In-Cell Touch 720p IPS display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.

Android Lollipop comes preloaded, but it’s a safe bet to assume that a Marshmallow update will be rolled out post launch.

LG is yet to confirm how much the Zero will cost, but has revealed that it is coming to Europe following its debut in Taiwan this week.
