Sunglasses Extended Warranty Protection Plan FAQ

You may purchase our glasses coverage from participating retailers located throughout the United States. If you wish to purchase the plan online, please visit www.cya.insure.

While most participating retailers offer the 2&3 year CPS accidental warranty, coverage can be purchased for up to 5 years post date of purchase.

Lost or stolen sunglasses or glasses are not covered. This type of coverage maybe covered by your credit card company or homeowner/rental insurance policy.

If we cannot repair your glasses, we will replace the glasses with the same make/model style and prescription if applicable. If the replacement is not available, CPS will send you a check for the glasses.

If you repair your glasses locally, the time frame would be set by the local repair shop of your choice. When you ship your glasses to CPS for repair, most claims are resolved in 5 business days or less.

CPS has 2 convenient options. You may bring your glasses to a local repair shop or ship your glasses to CPS for service. Option 1: Bring your glasses to a local repair shop and submit your estimate to CPS for approval and reimbursement. Option 2: If you prefer to ship your glasses to CPS for coverage, we will provide you with instructions. Once received, we will repair your glasses and ship it back to you.

Yes, the sunglasses protection plan covers glasses, sunglasses and goggles.

Yes! Accidents due to drops and cracks are covered under this plan. Broken, bent, cracked, scratched lenses and smashed glasses are all covered under this policy. In addition to this, your sunglasses are warranted to be free of manufacturer’s defects, which includes material and workmanship.

No, we do not cover prescription changes for the lenses. We do however cover the new lenses once they are changed.
