Can I transfer the warranty to a new user?

Yes, you can. Contact CPS by giving us a call at 1 (800) 905-0443, and our customer experience team will be able to help you transfer your warranty to a new owner. A small $25.00 transfer fee applies.


I purchased a refurbished camera, when does my coverage start?

For refurbished cameras that have a 30-90 day warranty, our contract starts the date you purchase your camera, with coverage beginning as soon as the 30-90 day warranty ends.


I have a manufacturer's warranty on my camera, when does my coverage start?

Your warranty contract and coverage begins once the first year of your manufacturer's warranty ends.


Do these plans include an annual cleaning?

Yes they do. For you to redeem your cleaning, you will have to file a claim, and ship your camera to our service center.


Do these plan include coverage for the lens?

They do not. You will have to purchase additional coverage for the lens.


What don't these plans cover?

Full water submersion is not covered in either warranty, nor is intentional damage, drops over 6 feet, and lost or stolen cameras.


What does the accidental warranty cover?

The accidental damage warranty covers the same things the standard warranty covers, with accidental damage included. All drops under 6 feet and spills of water on your camera are covered.


What does the CPS standard camera plan extended warranty cover?

Our standard plan covers 100% of the parts and labor necessary for repairs. The warranty also covers all internal hardware failure, as long as it is not caused by accidental damage to the camera.


Will my coverage continue after my headphones are repaired?

Yes. Your coverage will typically continue until your contract expires. Your coverage will end, however, if your headphones are replaced or the total cost of the repairs meets the maximum liability (the original price you paid for your headphones).


What happens if the service center cannot repair my headphones?

If we cannot repair your headphones, we will provide you with a check for the current market value of your headphones.
